Exercise:
1. Review the Weedon Island Photographic Essay. Note locations of each picture taken and the habitat description for each photo.
2. Using the 2002 Weedon Island Aerial Photographs, the 2002 Colored Habitat overlay, and the Weedon Island Photographic Essay, identify habitats locations on the 1:24,000 scale Safety Harbor/Gandy Bridge/ Saint Petersburg, FL; Port Tampa, FL., USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
3. Use the topographic map at the front of the Photographic Essay to match a picture from the Photographic Essay with each of the habitats on the overlay. Write the picture number from the Photographic Essay that corresponds to the one of each of the habitat type. Write the name of the identified habitat near the corresponding picture number.
