Exercise:
- Review the Martello Castle photographic
essay. Note locations of each picture taken and the habitat description for each
photo.
- Using the 1995 Aerial Photograph and the Martello Castle
Photographic Essay, identify habitats by
comparing the pictures' locations
on the photograph.
- Use the topographic map at the front of
the photographic essay (showing photo locations) and the magnifying glass to identify the
following habitats. On photo overlay, mark each habitat with a " + " using the
black pen.

Upland scrub-shrub

- Match a picture from the Photographic essay with each of the habitats. Write
the picture number from the photographic essay that
corresponds to the habitat type beside each habitat " + " mark . Write the name
of the identified habitat near the corresponding
" + " and picture number.
