Exercise:
1. Review the Fort Clatsop Photographic Essay. Note locations of each picture taken and the habitat description for each photo.
2. Using the 2000 Aerial Photograph, the 2000 Colored Habitat overlay, and the Fort Clatsop Photographic Essay, identify habitats locations on the 1:24,000 scale Warrenton-Astoria Topographic Quadrangle.
3. Use the topographic map at the front of the photographic essay to match a picture from the Photographic Essay with each of the habitats on the overlay. Write the picture number from the photographic essay that corresponds to the one of each of the habitat type. Write the name of the identified habitat near the corresponding picture number.
