1951 Colored Habitat map (Skill 1, Element 3)

1979, 1991, and 2002 Colored overlays taped together (Skill 3, Element 1)

Drafting tape

Exercise:

1. Use the 1951 Colored Habitat map and the 1979, 1991, and 2002 colored overlays taped together.

2. List at least two differences observed:

Note: Place a piece of white paper between the 1951 NWI map and the 1979 colored overlay to observe the difference between the 1979 and 1991 colored habitats.

3. Visually examine the colored habitat maps to determine if the following habitats increased or decreased between each time period. Write increase, decrease, or stayed the same in the boxes.
