National Standards

The following standards are for grades 5-8. The geography national standards for grades 9 - 12 are the same as the grades 5-8 standards. The science and mathematics national standards for grades 9-12 have some differences in objectives and outcomes, but the basic concepts are the same. Standards for science and mathematics in grades 9-12 follow the grades 5-12 standards. Refer to the geography, science, and mathematic standards publications for additional information.
