Exercise:

           1.  Use 1994 1:24,000 scale Lewis Springs-Tomestone SE Topographic Quadrangle.

            2.  Use the 1999 Aerial Photograph covering the same area.

         3.   Use the Topographic Symbols Chart.

4.      Identify the San Pedro River.

            5.  Identify a sand area.

            6.  Identify some unimproved roads.

7.      Identify the following cultural features on the map:

a.                    benchmark

b.                   ruin

c.                    gravel/sand pit

d.                   Public Land Survey

8.      Can you identify the San Pedro River, Highway 90, and old railroad grade on the 1999 aerial photograph?
