1956 Colored Habitat map (Skill 3, Element 3)

1978, 1988, and 1995 Colored overlays taped together (Skill 1, Element 3)

Drafting tape

Exercise:

1. Use the 1956 Colored Habitat map and the 1978, 1988, and 1995 colored overlays taped together.

2. List at least two differences observed:

Note: Place a piece of white paper between the 1956 NWI map and the 1978 colored overlay to observe the difference between the 1978 and 1988 colored habitats.

3. Visually examine the colored habitat maps to determine if the following habitats increased or decreased between each time period. Write increase, decrease, or stayed the same in the boxes.
